Position Type:Adult Education/InstructorDate Posted:9/3/2024Location:Adult EducationDate Available:09/04/2024Position: Hourly Adult Education Dental InstructorLocation: Burlington County Institute of Technology - Adult EducationPosition Summary Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) is seeking qualified candidates for the part-time role of Dental Instructor in our Adult Education Dental Assisting and Dental Radiology programs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in dental practices, along with relevant instructional experience, to help train and inspire the next generation of dental professionals. Qualifications NJ Licensed Dentist, NJ Registered Dental Hygienist, or NJ Licensed Dental Radiologic Technologist (required) Minimum of 4 years work experience in Dental Assisting or Dental Hygiene CDA and RDA credentials preferred At least 2 years of full-time equivalent experience performing dental radiographic procedures Completion of a Board-recognized course in educational theory and methodology (or equivalent as determined by the Board) Bachelor's Degree preferred Strong oral and written communication skills Compensation Hourly Rate: $39.15/hour (competitive) Part-time, hourly instructional position Additional Information Must pass a criminal history background check Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required Must establish New Jersey residency within one year of hire Drug testing required ?EEO/AA Employer Statement BCIT is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
