Put simply, when it comes to transportation, we're the one you want.Job purposeAs a Client Operations Specialist, you will work as part of a Client Management team with the sole focus of delivering an exceptional client experience to existing managed client accounts. You will be responsible for performing all day-to-day operational commitments as required. You will manage real-time issues, while multi-tasking and prioritizing supply chain issues to maintain high quality of service. As a Client Operations Specialist, you will be expected to be accurate, efficient and entrepreneurial by nature.Duties and responsibilitiesComplete all entry and scheduling of shipment ordersMake decisions regarding the best appointment times and schedule appointments accordinglyGrow and develop relationships with your portfolios' partners, shippers, and receiversManage and update all shipments within your portfolioEffectively communicate with customers to understand their supply chain needsMaintain overall positive client experienceFoster close relationships with existing customers to provide superior customer serviceReport and resolve any transit issues or problems to appropriate partiesEfficiently manage the flow of information across departments (Client Management & Procurement)QualificationsClear and confident communication with the ability to interact with all departmentsMinimum 1-year experience in customer facing role, preferably with transportation brokerage experienceStrong problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with a positive and ethical work attitudeAbility to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent resultsStrong commitment to operational excellence and client satisfactionDetail oriented and ability to multi-taskA combination of the above shall also be consideredBenefitsPTO (Paid Time off) + Company holidaysMedical, dental, and vision healthcareCompany paid short term disability, life, and AD&D insuranceCompany paid maternity and paternity leave401k with company matchCompany provided onsite gym membershipCompensationCompensation for this role will range between $21.50 - $24 an hourWorking conditionsGeneral office environment. Work is generally performed in a seated position with a high volume of computer screen reading, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable.
