Salary Range:Negotiable depending on experience (12-month contract)Minimum Qualifications:Valid Texas Teaching Certificate or Administrative Certificate5+ years of successful teaching and coaching experiencePrevious experience as a Head Varsity football Coach or Varsity O/D CoordinatorSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of overall operations of an athletic programKnowledge of coaching techniques and proceduresKnowledge of Federal, State, and UIL Policies Governing AthleticsAbility to Instruct and sSupervise Student AthletesAbility to Implement Policy and ProceduresAbility to Interpret Data, Manage Budget and PersonnelOrganizational, Communication, and Interpersonal SkillsAbility to Supervise, Evaluate, and Recommend the Hiring of CoachesAbility to Manage District Athletic Operations including Directing Ticket Sales, Employing Game Officials, and Ensuring Preparation of FacilitiesAbility to Problem Solve and Build ConsensusClear and valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with Passenger(P) and School Bus (S) endorsements (optional but preferred)Ability to travel District Wide and occasionally StatewideAbility to work Occasional Prolonged and Irregular Hours
