Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215 Key Responsibilities: Prepare the surgical area by using aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile field. Assist surgical teams by passing instruments and anticipating the surgeon's needs. Set up and disassemble operating rooms, handling equipment and supplies effectively. Transport patients and maintain responsibility for the environmental safety and efficiency of the operating room. Engage in continuous learning by maintaining knowledge of various surgical procedures. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire. No prior experience is required, making this a great opportunity for new graduates. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and transferring patients. Must be comfortable in a rigorous environment with exposure to various hazards.
