Join our Amazing Operating Room Team We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I to contribute to high-quality patient care in the Operating Room. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the largest hospital in Wisconsin, where you will work in an innovative, fast-paced environment dedicated to providing excellent surgical care. Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215 Compensation: $26.10 - $39.15 per hour Sign-On Bonus: Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus with distance-based relocation available, plus an additional $2,000 sign-on bonus for PM shifts Your Role: As a Surgical Technologist I, you will play a vital role in preparing the surgical environment and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring a clean and safe surgical area, utilizing aseptic techniques for surgical procedures. Preparing materials and instruments, and maintaining a sterile field during operations. Assisting with the setup and dismantling of surgical equipment. Monitoring the surgical environment for safety and efficiency. Transporting patients and equipment as needed. Maintaining specialty carts and ensuring equipment is in good working condition. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire. No prior experience is required; we welcome new graduates Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, push/pull equipment, and operate necessary tools and equipment. Must work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
