About the Position:

  • Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15 per hour
  • Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center, 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
  • Hours Per Week: 40

Sign-On Bonuses Available: Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus with distance-based relocation or a $2,000 bonus for evening shifts.

Your Role: As a vital part of our Operating Room team, you will:

  • Ensure a clean, safe environment for optimal patient care.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques to prepare for surgeries.
  • Set up operating rooms efficiently and maintain equipment.
  • Function as a Second Assistant when needed.
  • Communicate with staff regarding equipment needs.
  • Transport patients and manage specialty carts.
  • Adapt to high-pressure situations with confidence.

Qualifications: You should have:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire.
  • No prior experience is required.

Physical Requirements: This role involves:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks essential for patient care.
  • Working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Using protective equipment like masks and gloves.
