Our products are more affordable and more sustainable than their dairy equivalents.Location: On-Site at New Century, KS FactoryAbout the RoleWe're looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead shift operations and drive performance across safety, productivity, cost, quality, delivery, and morale. Using a Continuous Improvement framework, you'll manage a unionized crew, allocate resources effectively, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coach and develop team members, foster a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with plant standards and regulatory requirements.What You'll DoPlan and manage daily allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials) to meet performance targets. Supervise hourly union employees, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and discipline. Coach and mentor team members to meet current and future business needs. Drive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality culture; ensure compliance with all safety and legislative requirements. Manage productivity during off-shifts, including issue resolution, crewing adjustments, and coordination with Maintenance, Planning, and Quality teams. Utilize Kronos Timekeeping System to maintain accurate records of hours worked, overtime, and absences. Communicate site targets and goals to shift crews consistently and accurately. Foster positive employee relations and administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Investigate safety, quality, and environmental incidents using WCM Root Cause Analysis. Comply with all company and plant rules; perform other duties as assigned. About YouBachelor's degree in Technical/Engineering or Supply Chain OR equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of WCM, SHE, Quality, GMPs, and plant-specific training. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to motivate and lead in a union environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and build collaborative relationships. Skilled in conflict resolution and fostering an inclusive work environment. Ability to drive change and innovation while meeting deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
