School Instructional Aide - Student Support ServicesLocation: Los Angeles, CaliforniaPay Rate: $18-$20 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: School hours with weekends and holiday breaks offWe are currently hiring School Aides to support students in educational settings. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working in schools or with children of all ages, especially those who are comfortable providing personal care, including restroom assistance.Position SummaryThe School Aide works under the supervision of the special education department, classroom teacher, and designated school personnel to assist students with instructional, behavioral, and personal care needs. This includes support for physical mobility and therapeutic care as directed by licensed professionals such as rehabilitation specialists or school nurses.ResponsibilitiesAssist students with classroom participation, behavior support, and daily routines.Provide restroom assistance and other personal care as needed.Support students with physical mobility and therapeutic needs under professional guidance.Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and district policies.Foster a respectful and supportive atmosphere for students of all backgrounds and abilities.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)Experience working in school settings or with children of various age groups, supporting children with behavioral needsAbility to provide personal care support, including restroom assistanceCurrent CPR certificationTB clearance (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray as required)Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageUnderstanding of HIPAA and student confidentiality standardsBenefitsWeekly payCompetitive benefits packageFlexible scheduling optionsSupportive work environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of childrenApply TodayIf you are passionate about supporting students and creating inclusive learning environments, we encourage you to apply.
