Join Our Team as a Central Office/Data Center Installer Level 3 Pay Rate: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour Are you skilled in installation and looking for a rewarding opportunity? We want you on our team Essential Job Functions: Demonstrate strong knowledge of AC/DC power systems and installation techniques. Conduct standalone hardware testing, ensuring power verification and basic provisioning of devices. Work independently with a self-driven attitude and minimal supervision. Manage cable routing and organization effectively. Provide daily activity reports, highlighting any concerns and offering recommendations. Maintain tools assigned to your role and monitor calibration requirements. Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Data Center, PoP, or CO installations. Familiarity with safety procedures for equipment, ESD, power, and radiation. Expertise in installing frames, cabinets, misc. equipment, and cabling. Capable of tackling site issues, including material and engineering discrepancies. Skilled in measuring and marking floors, assembling iron work, and installing raised floors. Adept at drilling floors and ensuring the secure installation of equipment, including meeting earthquake standards. Proficient in running Cabling, Fiber, and Coax to secure locations. Exhibit a solid work ethic and a competent, self-directed approach. Ensure adherence to all Telecom Standards and Practices. Education/Certifications: CPR First Aid Completed ESD protection course Safe Lifting Practices course Experience/Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma Valid Driver's License Other Skills/Abilities: Ability to work independently without constant oversight. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and comfortable working at heights. Maintain good housekeeping and observe safety practices. Competence in using basic hand and power tools. Adept at reading mechanical, electrical, MOPs, JIMs, and instructional documentation, with a capacity for updating records as needed. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to collaborate in a team environment. Aware of procedures for working around in-service equipment. Knowledge of standard Telecom color codes. Demonstrate customer service orientation with strong problem-solving abilities.
