Job Title: Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Join a dedicated team of General Medicine Providers performing vital Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the country. This role offers the flexibility of working from your own office or a VES facility. Candidates should be located within a 50-mile radius of the job site. Job Responsibilities: Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments. Perform primarily interview-based examinations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Complete necessary documentation and reports, including addendums and medical opinions. Provide services on a PRN basis with options for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts. Conduct assessments efficiently while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Qualifications: Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine. AANP certification required. Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada. Must have your own office to see Veterans (if not working at a VES facility). Willingness to complete DMA training for certification. License and Certification Requirements: Nevada Nurse Practitioner license (non-compact). AANP certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
