Health Care Systems is seeking a full-time experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant.The position includes both the OR and the Clinic and cases include a focus on spine with some general.This PA will support a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon.The position is two days in the OR and the balance is in the clinic.The new Physician Assistant will provide a mix of surgical first assist, consultation and patient follow-up and education, sin-visc and cortisone injections, pre and post H&P s, write scripts and review and order lab tests.The Physician Assistant will run a parallel clinic to the doctor.The position does not have any weekends and minimal evenings.This doctor requires orthopedic experience.The candidate must be NCCPA-Certified. Sorry, the Doctor will not train a new graduate.The location is within the Arlington, Virginia area.Base salary: Excellent compensation and a full benefits package provided.
