Health Care Systems is seeking a full-time experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position includes both the OR and the Clinic and cases include a focus on spine with some general. This PA will support a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. The position is two days in the OR and the balance is in the clinic. The new Physician Assistant will provide a mix of surgical first assist, consultation and patient follow-up and education, sin-visc and cortisone injections, pre and post H&P s, write scripts and review and order lab tests. The Physician Assistant will run a parallel clinic to the doctor. The position does not have any weekends and minimal evenings. This doctor requires orthopedic experience. The candidate must be NCCPA-Certified. Sorry, the Doctor will not train a new graduate. The location is within the Arlington, Virginia area. Base salary: Excellent compensation and a full benefits package provided.
