Both supervisors and student workers can end their employment at any time throughout this time frame. All individuals eligible for student work study must be enrolled in and maintain a minimum of six (6) credit hours of enrollment throughout their employment and remain in good academic standing as outlined by school policies and federal financial aid guidelines.JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Director of the Student Achievement and Resources Center, the SARC is responsible for assisting the SARC oversee and prepare facilities, supplies, and conduct office work as assigned.Essential Functions and Responsibilities To understand and commit to the Mission of the College ~ Dodge City Community College provides a student-centered learning environment where students can achieve their educational, personal, and career goals. Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, or visitors. Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department on campus or SARC team member. Assist with set up of materials, equipment, and supplies. Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment, including sanitizing surfaces. Perform general office tasks, including but not limited to office work, copying of materials, filing, etc. Assist with freight when needed with new supplies and materials. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor. The above job description supersedes all previous descriptions. The description is intended to be a toll to describe the primary purpose of the job and the Essential Functions and Responsibilities. The job description may not be inclusive of all duties and job responsibilities. Administration has the right to add or change the job responsibilities to cover absences or relief to equalize peak work periods at any time. Required Qualifications High school diploma/GED. Must be enrolled in and maintain six (6) credit hours at Dodge City Community College. Must remain in good academic standing. Available in the afternoons. Preferred Qualifications Reliable and punctual. Excellent time management skills. Ability to follow instructions carefully. Self-motivated and proactive. Physical Qualifications Ability to bend, stoop, jump, kneel, and sit/stand for extended periods of time. Ability to carry equipment and supplies. Ability to ambulate and navigate stairs and ramps throughout the campus.
