We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Physician to provide expert care in interventional cardiology during a vital coverage period. This opportunity offers competitive compensation, excellent work environment, and the chance to contribute to patient health in a dynamic setting.OverviewAs a Locum Interventional Cardiologist, you will deliver high-quality, urgent cardiovascular care in an inpatient setting, performing essential procedures including heart catheterizations, PCIs, coronary angioplasty, carotid artery stenting, and other advanced interventions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining excellent patient outcomes. This position involves 24-hour shifts, starting from 8 am Friday to 8 am Monday, with 24-hour call responsibilities, allowing for a balanced and flexible work schedule.Required SkillsValid medical license and applicable certifications in cardiology and interventional proceduresProven experience in invasive cardiology procedures, including heart catheterization, PCI, and angioplastyProficiency with EPIC electronic medical records systemStrong clinical judgment and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environmentExcellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration and patient careNice to Have SkillsAdditional certifications in advanced cardiovascular proceduresPrior experience with carotid artery stenting and embolic protection devicesFamiliarity with telemedicine or outpatient cardiology servicesBilingual abilities in Spanish or other languages, enhancing patient engagementPreferred Education and ExperienceMedical degree from an accredited institutionBoard certification in Interventional CardiologyAt least 3 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in an inpatient or hospital settingPrior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageousOther RequirementsAvailability to start on 01/23/2026Credentialing timeframe approximately 120 daysReimbursement for travel-related expenses including hotel, rental car, mileage, and flightsCommitment to compliance with all facility policies and protocolsEnjoy a competitive hourly rate of $19.50, with weekly pay via direct deposit and comprehensive medical benefits (W-2).
