This newly created Director of Financial Reporting/Technical Accounting role reports directly to the Assistant Controller and is a key leadership position within the accounting team. What You'll Do as Director of Financial Reporting/Technical Accounting: Lead the preparation and review of Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A. Ensure compliance with SEC rules and regulations through timely and accurate filings. Drive technical accounting research and policy development across global accounting matters. Collaborate with senior management and audit committees, and support investor relations and FP&A. Oversee internal controls and support SOX 404 governance. Review contracts for ASC 606 revenue recognition and assist with acquisition due diligence and purchase accounting. Serve as a key liaison to internal and external auditors. Continuously improve reporting processes and systems, including software implementation. What You Bring as Director of Financial Reporting/Technical Accounting: Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting; CPA required. 8+ years of relevant experience (Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm or public company).
