This position offers stability, training, and a clear path for advancement within a growing organization.Essential FunctionsPerform vehicle and equipment repairs to ensure safety and optimal performance.Conduct preventative maintenance, safety checks, and annual inspections per company protocol.Diagnose and repair mechanical problems efficiently and accurately.Complete work orders properly, including accurate documentation of hours and parts used.Evaluate completed work and consult with supervisor to ensure compliance with safety standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Complete assigned tasks in a timely and effective manner.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Valid driver’s license required.DOT medical card eligibility required.Minimum 5 years diesel truck maintenance experience required.Trade school and/or automotive training preferred.CDL preferred but not required.Forklift certification preferred but not required.Work EnvironmentFast-paced outdoor and shop-based environment servicing heavy trucks, fleet vehicles, and pavement marking equipment.
