The successful candidate will play a vital role in our client's marketing initiatives by focusing on securing optimal coverage for a diverse book of both new and renewal business.How You Will ContributeThe Risk Placement Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that are critical to the agency's success. Your contributions will include:New & Renewal Business: Taking ownership of the entire marketing process for new and renewal accounts, from preparing comprehensive submissions to managing them through to binding.Negotiating & Placing: Sourcing and negotiating with insurance carriers to secure the best pricing and coverage for clients.Carrier Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse network of insurance carriers to understand their products and appetites.Workflow Management: Ensuring all submissions are handled efficiently and adhere to the agency's quality control standards and deadlines.Internal Collaboration: Working closely with producers and account managers to facilitate a smooth and effective placement process.Documentation: Meticulously documenting all marketing activities and organizing carrier materials and company files.QualificationsA Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.A minimum of 5 years of direct insurance experience in risk placement, marketing, or a related field.Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized professional with a keen eye for detail.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications. xhmxlyz Bonus: A competitive, production-based bonus structure is available.
