Risk Placement Specialist - Sarasota, FL
Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a premier independent insurance agency in Sarasota, Florida, to find a highly skilled Risk Placement Specialist . The successful candidate will play a vital role in our client's marketing initiatives by focusing on securing optimal coverage for a diverse book of both new and renewal business.
The Risk Placement Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that are critical to the agency's success. New & Renewal Business: Taking ownership of the entire marketing process for new and renewal accounts, from preparing comprehensive submissions to managing them through to binding.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse network of insurance carriers to understand their products and appetites.
Workflow Management: Ensuring all submissions are handled efficiently and adhere to the agency's quality control standards and deadlines.
Working closely with producers and account managers to facilitate a smooth and effective placement process.
Meticulously documenting all marketing activities and organizing carrier materials and company files.
A minimum of 5 years of direct insurance experience in risk placement, marketing, or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Bonus: A competitive, production-based bonus structure is available.
