Athletics/Activities Date Posted: 8/12/2025 Location: Athletics Date Available: 09/01/2025 Closing Date: Until Filled LIFEGUARD Description: The lifeguard is responsible for the safety of the students while in the pool area. Responsibilities: Ensure the health and safety of the students in the pool area. Ensure appropriate and efficient emergency response when needed. Enforce the pool rules in an appropriate, fair and equitable manner and explain the rationale for the rule(s) when needed. Assist students as needed, but without compromising the safety of others using the pool. Adhere to the policies and procedures set forth in the Staff Manual. Attend meetings as requested. Be on time and cover all assigned hours. Attend to the cleanliness of the Pool area and its equipment. Perform other job related tasks as assigned. xhmxlyz Qualifications: Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification Current First Aid and CPR certification Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills Experience as a lifeguard in a pool area with children. Salary Range $17.50 hr (2025/2026)
