Ascendo Resources is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our client's office in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, fully onsite role. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys throughout the entire litigation process, from case inception to trial. Manage all phases of discovery, including preparing for depositions, responding to written discovery requests, and organizing expert discovery. Draft interrogatories, document requests, and non-party subpoenas. Analyze legal documents and prepare summaries for attorney review. Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic. Track important deadlines and manage case calendars. Accurately record and track billable hours on a daily basis. Provide general support to attorneys as needed. Assist with trial preparation, including creating trial notebooks, organizing exhibits, and preparing materials. Attend trials as necessary, providing on-site support and assisting attorneys in the courtroom. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal with a strong understanding of litigation processes in Insurance Defense. Bachelor's degree and a Paralegal Studies certificate preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a litigation environment. Trial experience, including exhibit preparation and witness coordination. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Clio or similar legal software.
