As a Billing & AR Support Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring accuracy across billing, cost recovery, and client account activities. This role goes far beyond invoicing-it's about problem solving, communication, and supporting vital connections between finance, service, and sales teams. Overview of the Billing & AR Support Coordinator role: Review completed sales and service calls to determine billable status and allocate charges to the correct internal or external accounts. Investigate and identify whether work should be billed to customers, warranty, or internal service-ensuring accuracy and accountability. Analyze overhead and warranty-related invoices and ensure timely processing. Provide key support for accounts receivable (AR) functions, including aging report reviews and client follow-up-focused on clarity, not collections. Confirm purchase order (PO) numbers and payment terms with customers to ensure billing accuracy. Act as a backup resource for the billing team; demonstrate a working knowledge of how to prepare and issue invoices when needed. Partner closely with sales, service, and finance teams to support cost recovery and improve cross-functional efficiency. Preferred Qualifications for the Billing & AR Support Coordinator: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration a plus. 1+ years relevant experience in billing, AR, or financial support functions. Familiarity with service-based business models and cost allocation practices is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clarify and confirm billing information with internal teams and customers.
