The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our financial strategic planning, capital markets, and M&A activities. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional with a background in the construction industry to contribute to our company's strategic growth and financial health.Responsibilities:As the VP of Finance, you will be responsible for the following:1. Leading all aspects of financial operations, including financial planning and modeling, capital strategies, and financial reporting.2. Managing our company's capital markets activities, including funding and recapitalization efforts.3. Overseeing M&A activities, from due diligence to integration, to ensure successful outcomes.4. Developing and implementing robust financial strategies and systems that align with our company's objectives.5. Partnering with other executives to provide strategic financial leadership and support on potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.6. Building and leading a high-performing finance team, including talent development and performance management.7. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.8. Providing insightful financial data analysis to inform decision-making across the company.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the VP of Finance position should have the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the construction industry.3. Proven experience in capital markets, funding and recapitalization, financial planning and modeling, and capital strategies.4. Extensive experience with M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.5. Strong knowledge of financial operations and reporting, as well as FP&A.6. Demonstrated ability in talent development and team leadership.7. Exceptional analytical skills and a strategic mindset.8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.9.
