Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and experience working with various financial systems. Responsibilities: - Manage the processing of expense reports to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. - Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice verification and payment disbursement. - Perform invoicing tasks and ensure compliance with company policies. - Conduct thorough two-way match reviews to verify purchase orders and invoices. - Handle organizational payments, ensuring they are processed correctly and on schedule. - Maintain and update transactional accounting records with precision. - Collaborate with the finance team to support overall accounting functions. - Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciling discrepancies. - Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy. - Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to streamline processes and generate reports. Requirements - Proficiency in accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools. - Demonstrated knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Familiarity with auditing practices and balance sheet account reconciliation. - Experience using Concur for expense management. - Strong understanding of transactional accounting principles. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
