Accounts Payable Clerk We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will collaborate with the Director of Finance to ensure seamless financial operations, including managing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining organized records. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes. Responsibilities: Verify invoices for payment authorization by appropriate personnel. Review and process invoices and credit memos using a third-party payment platform. Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ensuring timely payment distribution. Set up new vendor profiles in Financial Edge and Paymerang systems. Maintain organized accounts payable filing systems and electronic records. Create and post month-end journal entries while reconciling accounts. Process payments for 1099 vendors and manage year-end tax forms. Support accounting operations by performing additional tasks as needed. Requirements: Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. Proficiency in processing invoices and handling check runs. Familiarity with vendor setup and maintenance in financial systems such as Financial Edge. Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and journal entry preparation. Ability to reconcile accounts accurately and efficiently. Experience with 1099 vendor payments and year-end tax form processing. Excellent organizational skills to manage filing systems and documentation. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
