Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description: Pay Range: $43.91hr - $48.91hr Ensures technical issues and problems are resolved in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner utilizing available resources. Supervises, leads, and coordinates employees in the execution of new technical strategies, equipment, or standards. Conducts risk assessments and implements mitigation strategies to ensure safety and reliability of engineering projects. Provides engineering and technical expertise for the identification, analysis, and resolution of high-impact, complex, or cross-functional problems. Ensures facility design basis is controlled and design documentation is properly maintained. Conducts engineering studies with full technical responsibility for planning and coordinating high-impact, complex projects. Required Skills and Attributes: Skilled in using electrical diagnostic equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes. Basic networking knowledge and skills. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Experience with control panel layout and component mounting (e.g., DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays). Skilled in wire stripping, crimping, and routing neatly within enclosures. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Experience in instrumentation and data logging equipment. Experience in automation software such as LabVIEW or Ovation. Bachelor s degree in a STEM field is required. Desired Skills and Attributes: Experience with energy storage, generators, or microgrids is a plus. Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) certification in California preferred but not required.
