Job Description:

Pay Range: $43.91hr - $48.91hr
  • Ensures technical issues and problems are resolved in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner utilizing available resources.
  • Supervises, leads, and coordinates employees in the execution of new technical strategies, equipment, or standards.
  • Conducts risk assessments and implements mitigation strategies to ensure safety and reliability of engineering projects.
  • Provides engineering and technical expertise for the identification, analysis, and resolution of high-impact, complex, or cross-functional problems.
  • Ensures facility design basis is controlled and design documentation is properly maintained.
  • Conducts engineering studies with full technical responsibility for planning and coordinating high-impact, complex projects.
Required Skills and Attributes:
  • Skilled in using electrical diagnostic equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Basic networking knowledge and skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with control panel layout and component mounting (e.g., DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays).
  • Skilled in wire stripping, crimping, and routing neatly within enclosures.
  • bility to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Experience in instrumentation and data logging equipment.
  • Experience in automation software such as LabVIEW or Ovation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
  • Experience with energy storage, generators, or microgrids is a plus.
  • Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) certification in California preferred but not required.
