Material Handler

Job Description: Pay Range: $17hr - $22hr The Material Handler is responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role supports accurate inventory control, ensures compliance with safety standards, and contributes to efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities: Inspect and verify quantities of incoming goods and prioritize distribution according to purchase orders or invoices. Deliver received items to appropriate departments. Operate material handling equipment to store, relocate, and consolidate materials. Perform inspections and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates. Replenish stock and assist with material destruction when necessary. Select, consolidate, and pack products according to customer orders. Process returned goods following established procedures. Transport materials within the facility. Operate a company vehicle for local pickup and delivery when required. Load and unload trailers while adhering to applicable regulations. Complete and verify shipping records for accuracy. Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements for handling materials, including hazardous goods. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Use SAP for labeling, issuing goods, and tracking inventory. Maintain required logs and documentation. Perform additional duties assigned by management. Requirement/Must Have: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Less than one year of experience in warehousing, distribution, or material handling. Should Have: Experience handling hazardous materials.
