**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual circumstances.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.

+ Assist in guiding visitors and employees, providing directions or information as needed within the location.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
