What you will do in this role: * May have direct patient care duties. * Helpsestablish/implement goals,objectives, policies,proceduresand systems for the assigned clinical areas * Participates in the development and implementation of clinical plans. * Selects, trains/orients, and supervises departmental personnel. Responsible for work assignment and daily operations * Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions. * Resolvesproblems in clinical areas and ensures compliance with regulations and standards * Monitorsand controls clinical expenditures to remain within budget * Servesas liaison between clinic and external agencies * Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided. * Participates in professional development activities to keepcurrent withhealth care trends and practices. What Qualifications you will need: EDUCATION: * Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or a degree or diploma from an accredited school of practical or vocation nursing isrequired. EXPERIENCE: * Minimumof one year of experience in a medical office, acutecareor clinical outpatient setting isrequired.Previoussupervisory experience in a clinical setting is preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: * Current and Active Medical Assistant certification (Acceptable certifications are RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials) or active LPN or LVN license isrequired. CPR Certification required.
