About the Role: Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced team? We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant to support financial operations for a multi-unit restaurant franchise. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring smooth accounting processes.Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Excel to analyze financial data and generate reports for management. - Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions efficiently and accurately. - Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up to date. - Assist with journal entries (JE) as part of the month-end closing process. - Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. - Experience with Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, and Journal Entries. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. - CPA candidate is a plus. - Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, Intact, Cyma, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle. - Knowledge of general accounting principles. - Previous experience in a multi-unit or franchisee environment is highly desirable.
