Neighborhood Dance with locations in Mooresville, NC and Cornelius, NC is seeking super-star dance instructorsWe pride ourselves on offering classes that are taught by highly-qualified teachers in positive classrooms, and we are looking for caring, fun and motivated teachers that are passionate about developing children and fostering their love for dance and the performing arts. Our classes go beyond teaching technique and poise and help students develop important life skills and learn to be respectful, confident, and conscientious young people in the community.We are looking for instructors who are qualified to teach beginning through advanced levels of Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and/or Tap. Versatility in teaching a variety of genres is a plus, but not required. Instructors should lead by example in areas such as punctuality, responsibility, motivation and professionalism.QualificationsHigh energy levelExcellent presentation and professionalismThorough knowledge of danceA heart for childrenTeaching experience and excellent classroom management skillsAbility to commit for a full yearSupportive toward students, giving constructive feedback, encouragement and building confidenceAbility to effectively design and plan curriculum for all levels of assigned classes according to the syllabusEmployment Type: Part-Time
