Mortgage Loan Originator

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Mortgage Loan Officer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop leads and originate mortgage loans through a variety of channels, including branch referrals, realtors, and builders. You'll also respond to referrals from branch personnel and other sources, all while fostering positive relationships with customers. A solid understanding of mortgage regulations, processes, and a variety of bank products and services will help you assist our customers effectively, ensuring they get the best possible service.Key Responsibilities:Generate mortgage loan leads and originate loans through branches, realtors, and builders.Conduct interviews with mortgage loan applicants, ensuring all necessary information is gathered.Process loan applications and submit to the centralized loan support team.Respond to referrals from branch staff and external sources in a timely manner.Assist with additional information requests from processors to ensure smooth loan processing.Cross-sell additional bank products and services to deepen customer relationships and offer comprehensive financial solutions.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (an MBA or Master's degree is a plus).At least 2+ years of lending experience is preferred.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to exercise independent judgment and navigate complex financial documents.A creative and flexible approach to problem-solving, with integrity and a commitment to excellent customer support.Ability to stay calm and composed in stressful situations.Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of customers.Perks & Benefits:401(k) Plan with a generous match.Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance.Company-paid Life Insurance.Tuition Reimbursement to support your career growth.Fitness Reimbursement to promote a healthy lifestyle.Generous Paid Time Off, including Volunteer Leave and Paid Holidays.Additional employee perks and incentives.We are proud to offer a supportive, team-oriented environment where you can grow your career while making a difference in our customers' lives.
