We're looking for an experienced tax professional to lead and oversee direct tax operations in Canada while managing global Pillar II processes. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring compliance with evolving tax regulations, managing audits, and developing effective tax policies. If you have a strong background in tax research, project management, and leadership, we'd love to hear from youWhat You'll Do:Oversee direct tax operations for Canadian business activities.Lead global Pillar II tax processes, including financial statement provisions and compliance.Monitor legislative updates and provide strategic tax insights.Develop tax policies and solutions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.Manage and coordinate tax audits, working closely with internal teams and external auditors.Select, mentor, and lead a team of tax professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Determine areas of exposure and implement best practices to streamline compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax-related matters.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.At least five (5) years of experience in tax or financial disciplines.Strong understanding of Canadian Income Tax, Canadian Direct Tax, and global minimum tax regulations.Experience with international income tax, transfer pricing, and tax return reviews is a plus.Excellent research, project management, and communication skills.Ability to adapt to evolving tax legislation and provide proactive solutions.Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage teams effectively.Why Join Us?Competitive salary range: $9,208.38 - $16,575.08 per month.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement plan options to support your financial future.Tuition reimbursement for continued professional growth.Remote work flexibility, with potential on-site requirements depending on location.Work Location:This is a remote position available within the United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories.
