If you're a self-starter with a knack for building relationships and a desire to make a real impact, we encourage you to applyAbout the Role:As our Treasury Services Officer, you'll be at the forefront of our treasury services offerings, responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service. You'll partner with our banking team to identify opportunities, collaborate with our operations department to develop innovative products and processes, and act as a trusted advisor to our clients.What You'll Do:Business Development (45%): Manage the entire treasury services sales process, from planning and implementation to proposal presentation. Actively participate in business development activities and represent us in the community. Identify and understand customer needs, crafting solutions that help their businesses flourish. Sell and cross-sell deposit products and bank services, showcasing your professional knowledge. Contribute to increasing our market presence. Refer loan transactions to the appropriate banking teams.Relationship Management (25%): Manage a portfolio of deposit and treasury services clients, nurturing strong, long-term relationships. Act as a secondary relationship manager for lending clients with complex treasury needs. Support the management of relationships with our top deposit clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention. Provide expert service to clients with specialized cash management needs. Make decisions and manage overdraft situations, balancing client needs with risk mitigation.Client Service (15%): Serve as the primary point of contact for complex business deposit and treasury services needs. Provide exceptional client service to internal and external clients, vendors, and personnel. Use your product knowledge to resolve client issues, conducting root cause analysis for products like ACH transactions, wire transfers, and remote deposit. Develop a deep understanding of customer business needs and proactively suggest solutions. Provide remote pre/post sales customization, installation, training, and ongoing support for relevant software and systems. Support the deposit operations team on product-related matters. Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems and recommend solutions.Treasury Services Operations (15%): Collaborate with deposit operations and banking teams to develop competitive and profitable treasury services products. Conduct training for bank team members on treasury offerings. Prepare customer onboarding, agreements, and implementation plans. Identify opportunities for investment in banking systems and resources. Coordinate systems and application design, modification, and implementation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of treasury services products, systems, processes, and industry trends.Other Responsibilities:Assist other departments with special projects.Perform all job functions in alignment with our mission, vision, and core values (Dedicated, Reliable, Authentic, Knowledgeable, and Ethical).Perform other duties as assigned.Regulatory Compliance:Maintain knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues.Perform all job functions in accordance with regulations and bank policies.What You'll Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Five or more years of experience in Treasury services, bank operations, or sales (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Proven ability to sell and service clients.Treasury Management Certification (CTP) preferred, or a willingness to pursue it.Knowledge and Skills:Familiarity with bank operations, products, services, and policies.Knowledge of cash and funds management and bank data processing.Understanding of product costing and pricing.Self-starter with a passion for compliance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.Ability to build strong professional relationships.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and banking applications.Working Conditions:Comfortable office environment.Ability to sit/stand for extended periods.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Solid math and analytical skills.Computer literacy.Ability to lift up to 10 pounds (as needed).Why Join Us?We're passionate about building a better future for our clients and our community.
