Salisbury, Maryland, United States Perdue Farms Full time

Perdue Farms is a fourth-generation, family-owned food and agricultural business deeply rooted in tradition yet with a forward-thinking mindset. We believe that success starts with our people, and our culture is built on a foundation of teamwork, integrity, and respect, where every voice matters and everyone is encouraged to contribute to our shared goals. We are dedicated to creating a supportive, inclusive environment where associates feel valued and inspired to make an impact, both within the company and in the communities we serve. From promoting growth and development to prioritizing work-life balance, we're committed to helping our team members thrive.
That's Perdue.
Summary
We're looking for a mission-driven, strategic communicator with a strong editorial background to join our Corporate Communications team as an Editorial Lead, Internal Communications.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of being in office at our Salisbury headquarters three days per week.
In this role, you'll help shape how we communicate with our associates—to bring clarity, consistency, and purpose to the way we share information and connect people to Perdue.

With a background in journalism—ideally in television or print—you bring a strong news sense, a confident writing voice, and the ability to shape complex business updates into clear, engaging, and accessible content.

This role sits at the intersection of
strategy
and storytelling, working closely with internal communicators, creative partners, and business leaders to develop associate-facing content that is aligned, consistent, and purpose-driven. You'll work alongside peers in our external communications team to ensure our storytelling is consistent, aligned, and reflects the values that guide our work—both inside and outside of the organization.

WHY JOIN US
At Perdue Farms, our shared purpose—
To Raise a Better Future
—guides everything we do. This role is essential in bringing that purpose to life through clear, meaningful, and consistent communication that helps associates understand our vision and see how their work contributes to it.

The Editorial Manager, Internal Communications will play a central role in building trust, deepening understanding, and strengthening alignment across the organization by delivering communications that reflect our values:
Quality, Integrity, Teamwork,
and
Stewardship
. Whether developing day-to-day communications, shaping our narrative across multiple channels, or contributing to leadership messaging, this role helps ensure our voice reflects who we are—and who we aspire to be.

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $145,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

In addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vison, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.
