Our client is a leading, independent financial advisory firm serving  over 5000 households seeking a
strategic, process-driven Operations Manager
to elevate day-to-day operations and support ongoing growth. This is a mission-critical role with direct visibility to firm leadership and deep impact across systems, client experience, and advisor enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and streamline all operational workflows supporting financial planning and investment advisory services.
  • Partner with advisors and leadership to translate business goals into operational improvements.
  • Design and implement
    process maps
    , workflows, SOPs, and controls to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Manage and optimize
    Redtail CRM
    for data integrity, pipeline management, and advisor support.
  • Oversee back-office operations including account setup, service requests, custodial coordination, and compliance tracking.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects such as
    technology adoption
    ,
    custodian integrations
    , and process automation.
  • Ensure accurate data input, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Bridge communication between operations, advisors, and client service teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years

of progressive experience in operations or practice management within a financial advisory, RIA, or broker-dealer environment.
- Expertise in
CRM platforms
(Redtail strongly preferred); tech-forward with a data-quality mindset.
- Familiarity with investment products and workflows: equities, mutual funds, 529 plans, IRAs, etc.
- Proven success in
process improvement
, documentation, and operational strategy.
- Strong communication, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
