Position Summary:

The Leasing Consultant is the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays a key role in maintaining high occupancy and resident satisfaction. This position is responsible for showcasing the property, guiding prospects through the leasing process, and supporting daily leasing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist prospective residents, providing professional tours of available apartments and community amenities.
  • Respond promptly to phone, email, and online leasing inquiries.
  • Process rental applications, verify information, and prepare lease documents.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts to attract qualified prospects.
  • Help coordinate move-ins to ensure a smooth resident experience.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of leasing experience (multifamily housing preferred).
  • Leasing License (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, AppFolio, or similar software a plus).
  • Sales or hospitality background a plus.
  • Professional appearance and a friendly, outgoing attitude.
