Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role shaping the financial strategy of our growing, globally minded manufacturing organization. This unique hybrid position blends deep technical accounting expertise with advanced financial analysis and direct exposure to international operations. You will manage domestic and global financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, strong internal controls, and essential forecasting support in a dynamic, collaborative environment, reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Accounting.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with
    US
    GAAP
    .
  • Analyze and interpret financial results, including
    variance analysis
    ,
    cash flow forecasting
    , and
    performance reporting
    (including across growing global operations).
  • Prepare and present financial results and insights to
    senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
    .
  • Develop and maintain
    financial models
    to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.

Domestic and International Financial Planning and Risk Management

  • Support domestic business units with budgeting, financial reporting, and performance analysis, and support management in guiding establishment of potential future international business units / activity.
  • Evaluate and monitor
    currency exposure
    ,
    exchange rate impacts
    , and
    global market trends
    .
  • Ensure compliance with
    international financial regulations
    and reporting requirements.

Cost Management and Operational Finance

  • Analyze
    manufacturing costs
    , including materials, labor, and overhead, to support efficiency and profitability goals.
  • Perform
    cost-benefit analyses
    for capital expenditures and operational investments.
  • Support the development of cost control measures and continuous improvement initiatives across global operations.

Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Help maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support audit preparation and coordination with
    external auditors

  • Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across all business units.

Strategic Financial Planning

  • Provide financial insights to support
    strategic planning
    and
    global expansion initiatives
    .
  • Develop financial models for scenario analysis and investment evaluation.
  • Evaluate company performance against strategic goals and industry benchmarks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with international and domestic teams across
    operations, supply chain, IT, marketing, and finance
    to provide actionable insights.
  • Mentor and support team members, including AP/AR staff, promoting a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
    CPA or CMA preferred
    .
  • 4–6+ years
    of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis; Exposure to
    international operations
    and
    manufacturing environments
    preferred.
  • Solid understanding of
    US
    GAAP
    , financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong
    financial modeling
    , forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with
    ERP systems
    and financial planning tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with an ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
