We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Senior Project Manager for Healthcare Construction. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead and manage construction projects in the healthcare sector, including expansions, additions, renovations, and seismic retrofit projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing healthcare construction projects, including hospitals, medical office buildings (MOB), and parking garages.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Leading and managing the entire lifecycle of healthcare construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion and handover.
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Overseeing the preparation and execution of project contracts, budgets, and schedules.
  • Ensuring all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards, including Oshpd or Hcai and HCAI.
  • Managing the construction of hospital towers, MOB, parking garages, and other healthcare facilities.
  • Overseeing expansions, additions, renovations, and seismic retrofit projects in healthcare facilities.
  • Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.
  • Reporting regularly on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will have

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in healthcare construction.
  • Proven experience in managing expansions, additions, renovations, and seismic retrofit projects in healthcare facilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including Oshpd or Hcai and HCAI.
  • Experience in managing the construction of hospital towers, MOB, parking garages, and other healthcare facilities.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) would be an advantage.
