Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive bartending experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing bar operations, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests in a fast-paced environment such as Sports bar settings. The Lead Bartender will also be responsible for handling cash and POS transactions, and contributing to the overall success of our bar service.

Responsibilities

  • Be a part of bartending team to ensure efficient and professional service.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Assist with training new staff members on beverage preparation, POS operation, and customer service protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area in compliance with health regulations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
  • Support event setups such as banquets or catering functions when required.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor suitable for fine dining or nightclub environments.

Skills

  • Extensive bartending experience in fine dining, Sports Bar settings.
  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team of bartenders or servers.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations related to sales, retail math, and cash handling accurately.
  • Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations.
  • Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixology skills preferred.
