Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team In this dynamic role, you will craft exceptional drinks, deliver outstanding customer service, and create memorable experiences for our guests. Duties

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote repeat visits.
  • Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies efficiently to meet demand during busy hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions securely.
  • Upsell beverages and promote specials to increase sales while providing excellent customer service.
  • Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings.
  • Follow all food handling, safety regulations, and alcohol service laws diligently.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist in training new team members on POS systems, serving techniques, and safety protocols as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service laws.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours seamlessly.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
  • Experience with food handling, food safety procedures, and beverage preparation techniques including brewing knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous retail math or cashiering experience is a plus for managing transactions confidently.
  • Strong communication skills coupled with a team-oriented attitude to foster a lively yet safe atmosphere.
