What You'll Do:
  • Lead and supervise the Environmental Services team to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.
  • Oversee and perform life safety inspections, routine maintenance, and HVAC system upkeep.
  • Maintain records of repairs, supplies, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff, administrators, and department heads to meet environmental and safety needs.
  • Provide oversight and support for laundry services and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily maintenance operations and manage departmental budgets.
  • Execute the facility's preventive maintenance program.
  • Keep accurate records of equipment, repairs, and safety inspections.
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.
  • Ensure furniture, equipment, and mechanical systems are in safe working condition.
  • Communicate promptly with leadership on maintenance issues and resolutions.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance or environmental services.
  • Experience with life safety inspections and HVAC systems required.
  • Prior work experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings preferred.
