We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented Server Ops/PKI Systems Engineerto join our team. The role focuses on ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing server and certificate management across enterprise environments.

To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with Cloudshape.

Primary Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain server infrastructure across Linux and Windows environments.
  • Implement and manage PKI systems, including digital certificates, certificate authorities, and secure authentication.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize server and PKI performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to integrate PKI and server solutions.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripts or configuration management tools.
  • Maintain system and PKI documentation, generate reports, and support compliance audits.
  • Assist in planning and executing upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years of experience
  • An ability to work independently, multi-task, and communicate effectively will be required for this role.
  • US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments, networking, and security concepts.
  • Experience with certificate management, authentication protocols, and encryption technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
