Nursing Assistant - Float – Part-Time Evenings

At New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, certified nursing assistants thrive at the bedside as invaluable care providers. Provide comfort and caring as a certified nurse's aide at NYP-keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly.

Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care

  • Float to all units-in the hospital such as - Med-Surg- Critical Care-Psychiatry- Emergency Department or where needed.

This a part-time evening position (3:30PM-Midnight) –3 shifts/week- at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital

Preferred Criteria

  • Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience as a nurse's aide in a hospital.

Required Criteria

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certification from an approved, accredited Nurse Assistant training program or current

enrollment in a BSN program & completion of at least 1 clinical rotation

  • Current BLS Training from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills

$24.61-$26.46/Hourly
