Job Summary
Air Systems is looking for a Part-Time Project Management Intern for our Construction Department in San Jose, CA.The Construction Project Management Intern will support the planning and execution of construction projects with a focus on HVAC systems, ensuring tasks are organized, timelines are met, and project documentation is accurate and complete.

Schedule: 20-30 hours per week

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects, with a focus on HVAC systems.
• Support the preparation of project documentation, including budgets, timelines, and progress reports.
• Track project milestones and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to maintain smooth project execution.
• Help monitor compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Organize and maintain project files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to observe HVAC installations and overall project progress.
• Provide administrative support for procurement and inventory tracking.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in HVAC systems and construction project management.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management software is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn about construction processes and HVAC systems.
