Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, particularly as an industrial electrician, and will be responsible for performing various tasks on construction sites. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
• Utilize hand tools and electrical testing devices such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot issues.
• Work collaboratively on construction sites to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC regulations.
• Assist in building and assembling electrical components as needed.
• Provide maintenance person services for minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment, including voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems and their applications within industrial settings.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
