Description

Position:  Saturday Customer Service Phone Representative - Grand Island 

Interact with customers and co-workers to provide information in response to inquiries about financial products and services.  Handle and resolve customer complaints.  Work in a fast-paced environment with team members to answer phones and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

Essential Functions: 

  • Answer phones and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by resolving problems/inquiries either via the phone or in person.  Examples include:
    • Balance Inquiry and account reviews
    • Account transfers via TMS Templates
    • Online Banking enrollment and password resets
    • Raising debit card limits upon customer request
    • Entering stop payment requests
    • Entering address change requests
    • Solving other customer concerns as they arise
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:    This position will work at the Broadwell Avenue location on Saturday's from 9:00 a.m. to noon on a rotating schedule.  The customer service manager will complete the scheduling.  The expectation is that you will communicate to the customer service manager your available Saturdays.  The customer service manager will make the schedule up considering those dates.  If you have a conflict on a Saturday you are scheduled, we expect you to work with the other Saturday customer service phone receptionists to change with or cover your date.  Training will be provided as needed.  

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • 10 key pad – operating 10 key on adding machine, computer keyboard, calculator
  • Problem Solving Skills – The ability to find resolution to problems in an efficient, practical manner
  • Teamwork –Our project lists often require that people work together to accomplish a common goal.
  • Banking Experience preferred/not required.

Education/Training:

High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) and 2 years of banking and/or customer service experience.

Work Environment:

Work environment is generally indoors in the normal office environment, more specifically at the Broadwell location.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Status/Standard Schedule:  Hourly – Part time position working rotating Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
