Job Description

As a Security Officer – Armed Patrol Tech Site in Del Valle, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a professional manner, providing customer service to clients and guests at a technology-focused location.Respond to incidents and critical situations using a calm, problem-solving approach, while following established protocols.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, maintaining awareness of security-related matters specific to technology environments.Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership, supporting the overall security-related operations of the location.Document and report incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly using company-approved methods.Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related concerns and maintain a professional presence throughout the assigned area.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
