SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

Verbatim Americas seeks an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our product management department and drive strategic product initiatives across our media storage and computer accessory portfolio. This role combines hands-on product leadership with people management responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with our Germany locations to ensure cohesive global product strategy execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:

Product Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute comprehensive product roadmaps for our media storage and computer accessory lines, ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectivesLead cross-functional product development teams from concept through launch, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standardsConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiationDefine product requirements, specifications, and go-to-market strategies in partnership with engineering, sales, and marketing teams

Team Management & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and accountabilityEstablish clear performance metrics and career development paths for direct reportsFacilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing across the product management organizationBuild and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across all departments

Global Operations & Collaboration

Partner closely with Global Purchasing team located in Germany.Coordinate product launches and marketing campaigns across multiple regions, adapting approaches for local market conditionsManage international supply chain considerations and vendor relationships affecting product developmentTravel to Germany locations quarterly to maintain strong working relationships and strategic alignment

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in leadership rolesProven track record managing consumer electronics, storage solutions, or technology accessoriesExperience leading international teams and managing cross-cultural business relationshipsStrong analytical skills with proficiency in product management tools and methodologiesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsFluency in English requiredWillingness to travel in North America and internationally up to 25% of the timeExperience in media storage, data management, or computer peripheral marketsBackground in both B2B and B2C product strategiesKnowledge of market regulations and compliance requirementsExperience with agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management systemsTrack record of successful product launches in multiple international markets
