Production Records Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Records Specialist to support internal manufacturing processes, engineering documentation, and day-to-day operations. This role involves reviewing and entering drawings, preparing job packets, tracking production schedules, and assisting with bill of materials development. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and a basic understanding of manufacturing or engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities:Review technical drawings and enter associated data into internal systemsMaintain and update shop production schedules based on internal project statusPrepare comprehensive job packets for the shop floor, including required materials and routingBuild and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for custom productsCalculate extrusion lengths for manufacturing builds using provided formulasParticipate in internal meetings and track follow-up items or document changesOrganize and archive engineering and production documentation in shared systemsOccasionally assist with errands or in-office materials handlingQualifications:Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical administrative support role preferredAbility to read and interpret technical drawings or willingness to learnHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple prioritiesProficient with spreadsheets, file organization, and internal documentation toolsReliable transportation for occasional off-site errands-
